The majority of our clients have never done a boudoir photoshoot before, and everyone is nervous! We get it - you are stepping out of your comfort zone and into the unknown. Below are some of the most common questions we get asked. If you can’t find the answer to yours, please contact us. Trust us - no question is too silly!
Before booking your Boudoir La Maison Experience
Q) How much does a boudoir photoshoot cost?
A) The Boudoir La Maison experience is £249, however, we do have a limited number of these sessions to give away each day completely free. We promote these on Facebook, however if you would like to be considered for the free experience then please get in contact.
Q) Do I have to pay a booking fee?
A) No, we do not require any up front payment at all. No booking fee, no deposit. All we ask is that you do attend your appointment!
Q) How do I book a Boudoir La Maison experience?
A) Our appointments are in high demand, so don’t delay in booking yours! You can call us on 07565 717328 Mon-Fri 9:00am - 5:00pm
Q) When is the right time to book a boudoir experience?
A) NOW! Seriously though, why wait? There is no such thing as the perfect shape,size, age or weight for a Boudoir La Maison experience. You definitely do not need to change a thing about yourself - it’s all about celebrating who you are right now! IF NOT NOW - WHEN?

Q) When is the studio open?
A) Our studio is open Thursday to Monday. Appointment times start at 9am, with the latest time being 4pm to book in. There may be seasonal variations - Please check with our Booking Team on 07565 717328.
Q) How long does the Boudoir La Maison Experience last?
A) This is a lovely half day experience. Lasting approximately 4 - 5 hours. We suggest you bring some snacks along to keep you going.
Q) What should I do if on the day of my Boudoir La Maison experience I have a skin breakout, a bruise, or it's my time of the month?
A) Don’t worry at all! Our retouchers can air brush your images, including skin smoothing, erasing bruises, blemishes, even tattoos. We have complimentary sanitary products available for you, should you need them. Your time of the month should not prevent you from attending your photoshoot - after all the women in the Body Form advert even went roller skating!

Q) Is there a size or weight limit?
A) Hell no! We specialise in empowering and celebrating women of all shapes and sizes! We believe every body is beautiful regardless of size.
Q) Is there an age limit?
A) Our Boudoir La Maison experience is only available for clients over the age of 18, but there is no upper age limit! Age is just a number and there is no limit to being beautiful and sexy!
Q) Can I bring a friend for moral support?
A) Yes! You’re welcome to bring a female friend for moral support, they won’t be able to accompany you in the studio whilst you are having your photoshoot. They are more than welcome to wait in our lounge reception, space permitting. As we are a female-only studio, we kindly ask that male guests do not attend. (Unless they are taking part in a couples shoot.)
Q) Will you get in touch with me before my Boudoir La Maison experience?

Yes, you will get a call a week before to confirm your appointment, along with a text message the day before. Please make sure to answer this call or call us back to confirm or we will assume you are not attending your appointment.
Q) I can’t make my appointment - what do I do?

Please let us know AS SOON AS POSSIBLE - Please don’t wait for us to contact you. However, we would really appreciate you making every effort to attend as a lot of work has gone into planning your Boudoir La Maison experience to ensure you have a great time with us!

Q) What is included in the experience?

Q) Do I need to bring my own lingerie?
A) Yes. A boudoir shoot is a very personal experience, so choosing what to wear is key! It’s time to showcase your favourite items and we recommended you bring along 3 to add variety to your sessions. There are so many options to choose from including matching sets, bodysuits, babydolls, corsets, etc. It’s also a perfect excuse to go lingerie shopping! Q) Do I need to bring my own makeup?
A) All our professional makeup artists have their own kit to cater for all different styles/looks, however if there is something of yours you would specifically like us to use (Foundation, favourite lip colour etc) then please bring that along and our MUA will be more than happy to apply this for you.
Q) Do you provide false eyelashes?
A) Yes, we have a variety of styles of strip lashes available to purchase in the studio, at £10 per pair. You are more than welcome to bring your own along if you prefer.
Q) Do you wash, cut or colour hair as part of the experience?
A) No we do not offer that service. We will style freshly washed dry hair. We also do not offer any hair extension fitting service, so if you are planning on wearing extensions, please ensure you have them fitted beforehand. Wigs and hair extensions are styled at your own risk.
Q) Who will be in the studio with me?
A) It will be just yourself and one of our female photographers. On busy days we may operate a ‘double shoot’ which basically means that someone else may be having a photoshoot at the same time as you, but in different parts of the studio. Our studio is big enough so it’s unlikely your paths will cross. If you have agreed (given consent) For us to film behind the scenes of your photoshoot then there will be an extra person in for portions of your photoshoot to capture the footage.
Q) I’ve never done anything like this before - how will I know how to pose?
A) Relax! That is what we are here for! Your female photographer will tell you exactly what to do, where to look, what to do with your hands, face etc. We will even demonstrate the pose for you to simply copy. We know most people have never done anything like this before, and we know exactly what we are doing - so you are in the best hands!
Q) Is there somewhere for me to get changed?
A) Yes. Once you have had your hair and makeup done, you will be shown to the changing room where you can safely leave your belongings and change into your first outfits. We have a robe for you to use or you can bring your own, which you can wear over your outfit until you get into the studio.
After your Boudoir La Maison Experience
Q) What happens after the photoshoot?
A) You will change into the clothes you are going home in, and join us back in the reception lounge area where you can sit and relax with a drink of your choice. After a short wait, you will be invited into the private viewing room, where you will be able to view all your edited images. This is the best bit! Your images will be displayed on the big screen on a slide show, so sit back, relax and enjoy!

Q) Do I get to choose a free image?
A) Yes. Included in your Boudoir La Maison experience is ONE A4 Printed image of your choice.
Q) Why do we offer photo books?
A) Our photo books are designed to beautifully showcase your images in a way that lasts a lifetime. They provide a stunning, high-quality way to preserve your favourite moments from your boudoir experience, turning them into a timeless keepsake. Whether it’s a personal confidence boost, a gift for a partner, or a way to celebrate a special milestone, our photo books allow you to relive your experience again and again. Plus, they’re a discreet and elegant way to keep your images safe and cherished.

Q) Can I buy more images and how much do they cost?
A) You are more than welcome to purchase additional images on the day - most people do as they love them so much! Individually they are £99, however the more you buy, the less they become individually. Our viewing consultant will talk you through all the packages available on the day, and can even tailor make a package to suit your budget.

Q) Can I spread the cost?
A) We accept all major credit and debit cards, and we can also offer interest free payments plans to suit your budget - buy now, pay later! Please remember to bring 2 forms of ID to enable you to take advantage of this.

Q) Do I have to buy more images?
A) You are under no obligation to purchase additional images. Most people do though because they love them so much! We are excellent at what we do, and our quality is second to none! After all, this is perhaps a once in a lifetime experience for most, and why wouldn’t you want to look back on these memories in a photo book?

Q) How long do you keep my images on file?
A) All purchased images are kept on file for 6 months. For images not purchased they will be deleted on the day due to copyright and storage.

Q) Do you share my images on social media or use them for advertising?
A) We are so proud that so many of our clients allow us to share their images and behind the scenes footage to inspire others, but it is a very personal choice. Your images are completely confidential with us unless you give written consent for us to share them. You will be asked to sign a consultation form on arrival to our studio, and within this is a section for social media consent.
